DRESS CODE
In order to create the appropriate atmosphere for the learning experience that MUNA offers, participants must conform to a dress code during meetings of the Assembly and the various committees.
The criteria are professionalism and modesty. If a delegate's attire is considered inappropriate by MUNA officials, the delegate will be asked to leave the session and return properly clothed.
Gentlemen would wear jacket and tie with appropriate shoes.
Ladies would wear a dress, skirt and blouse, or a business pantsuit, with appropriate shoes. As an option, participants may wear the national dress of the country they represent.
Sweaters, shorts, sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, ball caps, jeans, sneakers, sunglasses, are too casual. Clothing that exposes too much bare skin, or is otherwise revealing, is unprofessional and inappropriate. Outside of scheduled meetings, one may dress as one pleases.
Counsellors are expected to monitor their delegation's attire. As role models for their delegates, counsellors are also expected to follow the dress code.
